Wayzata Dining Guide-Restaurants to Visit by Vicki

My Guide to Wayzata, MN-a special place to Eat and be a FOODIE. These are my go to places I will update with a more extensive list or contact me on other recommendations.

You can spend a day walking Lake St. up and down visiting shops, sitting watching Lake Minnetonka and eating up and down at a variety of places. If you start at one end, you can stay overnight at the wonderful, small boutique hotel,  Hotel Landing

You can make your way just next door for breakfast start at Benedicts Wayzata or across the street later for dinner at Baja Haus where they have a fun happy hour or top notch sushi at Sushi Fix

These 2 are icon places in Wayzata, If you have a craving for Chinese Jade Fountain has been there for sooo many years as well as Maggies Pizza & Family Restaurant

Now we wander half way down to the middle and if you want as close to Italy pizza and pasta as possible with a fabulous cocktail go to Josefina

Across the street on the water side, sit, listen to the music on certain nights, see the train or watch the lake at the beautiful  COV Wayzata

Now my favorite go to like weekly to sit outside or in the bar, people watch, the drinks, the food, the service, atmosphere is all the best! Plus you feel like you took a little trip to Europe at McCormicks don't miss the Walleye, French 75, Burrata and sit in the bar but they just remodeled the dining room so check that out too. Very pretty with all the lights in the winter and the must go to St. Patricks party.

Next up sit outside and eat fresh daily sushi open for lunch and dinner https://www.sakanawayzata.com or a Steak house that has stood the test of time and is still so excellent Giannis Steak house don't miss their salad with wonderful topping spun at your table and a great martini.

We are almost at the end which comes on the lake side with wonderful views, brunch, lunch and dinner 6 Smith, the famous Fat Pants Friday lunch special and for private events this can't be beat in Wayzata. The new comer which is fun with the Japanese Vinyl lounge, yummy food and cocktails go and try https://www.macandawayzata.com Macanda very cool vibe.

That's all from Vicki, oh and if you need ice cream Ben Jerry Wayzata ice cream is right across the street to sit and watch the boats go by.

Cheers! Enjoy Wayzata and Love it like I do. Let's move you to Wayzata
